Haven't updated yet on Sprint. I was just wondering when the paid themes would come and how better they would be compared to the free themes. Do they offer anything different from the free themes that you can tell?

For whatever reason, it's always several days after I see these update posts before I can actually see the new themes that are being discussed in my theme store. Smooth, you must be in the preferred theme store group or something! hehe

Has anyone noticed any differences in the two light Material themes? I now have downloaded the Material theme from last week, Weyo, Flat Candy, and Material Dark. I doubt I'll be paying $3 for a theme from what I've seen so far.

I suppose it's up to the developer but they should be compensated for their time and effort. Even if themes are free, some developers may have sites where you can support them in a way that allows them to spend more time in development. I like free things as well but marvel and appreciate the effort.

I grabbed the two new Material themes. The light theme and the previously released "Material" theme seem identical (other than wallpaper and icons that I don't use anyway). I like the "Material Dark" theme, but not fully my cup of tea. I'm sticking with the light theme for now. I wish the light theme had consistent colours (the grey, white and turquoise) in the dialer, not the bright blue. Meh, it's still my favourite.

I also like the "weyo" theme for the black and blue, but I prefer the subtle colours of the Material theme.

I suppose I wouldn't mind paying for a good theme to support the developer, but with the material theme (my favourite and probably what I'll stick with for a long time), being free, I don't have any need to buy others. Also, I'd pay a buck, but $3 is seemingly high for most of the current options.

I like the Material themes, but what turns me off is that they still are too similar to the stock Touchwiz icons. Those icons really turn me off, and I probably wont be downloading a theme which has them

I'm using the Material Dark theme but with Nova and an Icon Pack.
