New to Android, and glad to be here!

Hey guys!

I have owned an iPhone for 6 years (I've used the original iPhone, the 3GS, and the 4S) but now I have decided to make the big change to Android! I bought the HTC One about 2 days ago and I have fallen in love! Android is exactly what I've been looking for when it comes to my mobile phone. Each day I am discovering new things that I can tweak or instal to personalize my phone even more! This is something that the iPhone never offered!

Overall, I am very excited to have made the change! I'm very glad to be a part of such an awesome community!!

Welcome to Android and the forums! I have seen a lot of new people saying they are switching from iPhone. Out of curiosity, what is your reason(s)?

And if you want to take custom to a whole new level, try downloading Nova Launcher from Play. It is a different User Interface that allows you to change scrolling animations and speed, color themes, grid layout of the homescreens and app drawer, changing of dock icons and pages, plus much more. And two more things that make it great: First, rooting your device is not necessary. You can be stock and still use this app. Second, all the tweaks that I listed are under the free version.
