9Greetings everyone,

I'm Mr. Banks, and I have had my Samsung Moment since December of 2009. It wasn't even October 2010 and I found myself having an obsolete device. The good thing is that my upgrade is past due. I've never felt the need to upgrade so quickly but there's not much I can do anymore with the moment.

No rooting my phone or using hacked android updates...yet. I think the samsung moment 2.2 is a little out of my league. I've been away from computers and gadgests a while. I think I need a little more forum browsing before I go down that road.

So who else is a sprint user and is torn between Epic and Evo? I could go either way. Having the keyboard isn't a MUST. I found I can manage with an Evo. I never carry a camera so the Evo is hinting at me. I actually have never had anything but Samsung phones. They have all lasted and performed as required. So I'm a fan of Samsung. Never had any problems unless it was a windows mobile based phone. Thank you Android!

Hi, Mr. Banks.
It's nice to have you on board with.

Enjoy the forum.

Welcome to the forum. This is a great site. So much valuable info here. Everyone is friendly and helpful! :)

Hello and welcome to AC. As a former Samsung Moment owner you won't regret switching to a higher end android phone. Epic or Evo the are both good phones. I was torn between the Evo, Evo Shift, and Epic. I went with the Evo after having a bad Samsung week both my tv (2 blown lamp bulb in three months) and phone was flipping out. You said you never had any problems with your Moment. You must have had one of the few good ones.

Welcome to the forums! I think you will be happy with the EVO, or the EVO Shift. The build quality on HTC phones is great. They can take a beating.

Thanks everyone. I think I have ruled out the shift. Its either the unlocked nexus one, epic, or evo for me. I really only like the camera specs and the kickstand on the evo.
