Hey everyone, I'm a new Android user and forums poster. I purchased my first Android phone two months ago, the HTC Evo 4G and I'm head over heels for it. While waiting for it in the mail, I did all the research I could on it, and most of the time I ended up here so I figured I'd just make an account and join the fun!
As for me question...A couple days ago I rooted my Evo to get more customizations and battery life. I went with unrevoked, did a Nandroid, and flashed Cyanogen 7 on it..because I'm still new to the phone I wanted to keep rom Sense-based, and I flet that CM7 was a bit too advanced for me as I'm still learning, so I attempted to flash Calkulin EViO to it. The flash was successful but my phone would not go past the ' HTC Evo 4G' splash screen. I went to recovery in the bootloader and restored my phone, then tried one more time. Same result! Has this happened to anyone before? I like how that rom looks and I'm willing to go to a different one, but I was just curious as to why it acted the way it did. Thank you!
