I'm new to tinkering with my android devices and I must say it is all very entertaining. I've got the Samsung Epic 4G and I've noticed since rooting it that a lot of little annoyances have been going on with it. For instance, the battery is erratic, gets hot very quickly when multitasking, and the charge doesn't last as long as it did before. Still love the phone but sometimes I want to smash it against a wall!
Also, got the Nook Color and I've rooted that as well. After a few days of some weird stuff (it would undo the root after about 30mins) I finally got it to root properly and it's a source of great amusement. But now it seems that it doesn't charge when plugged into the wall or computer with the cable that came with the Nook. It will only charge when turned completely off and the computer will only recognize it if I use a different cable. That's weird but only minor inconvenience. I'll search the forums and see if anyone has any answers to this before I go and buy a new cable from Barnes and Noble.
