I rooted my phone (idont know why) but i still run stock rom. What will happen if I do an OTA update? Will the phone brick?

If you are running a custom recovery. Then I dont think you will get OTA updates any longer. If you do manage to sideload an OTA update, It will make you lose your root. but It shouldnt brick your phone

You will lose root and need to reroot.

you will get OTA but it will fail. It happened to me with Android 4.3 update.

it depends on what recovery you have. since you have not modified the system and just have rooted here are the 2 scenarios.

rooted but have STOCK RECOVERY then OTA will come to u and install will be successful.
rooted but have CUSTOM RECOVERY then OTA will come to u but install will fail.

I have custom recovery with TWRP.. I want to restore the phone to stock 4.3..What should i do?

OTA update with TWRP works fine, you will lose root and TWRP however.
