New to Android OS

Hi All,
I am new to Android os. I am using Samsung mobile with latest version of Android os. i have connected my memory card on my machine which is affected with virus and now my memory card also got affected. will this virus affect my mobile? my question might be crazy...i just wanted to clear myself. can someone tell me please?

No, a PC virus should not infect your Android. Still, you want to disinfect the microSD card now because at some point you will connect to your PC again and reinsfect it all over again.
