New to android. [Problems transferring videos from IPhone]

Just switch from iphone to andriod and i done the smartswitch on the s9 to transfer my pictures and videos.... All my pictures have been added to my gallery but most of my videos are not their in my files internal storage and they dont have a thumbnail just the icon with the play button on it......anyone help out here???

Can you plug your phone into your computer and move the files from where they were placed to somewhere that you would prefer? Maybe that would help.

I don't imagine too many people come from a iphone to Android so help might be limited.

Perhaps iPhone's use a different file format that is not compatible with android. Maybe file conversions are necessary. But as pointed put, I can't imagine too many here have had to do this, which may explain the lack of responses.

Can you download them from the icloud onto the s9?
