New to android - samsung galaxy s

Have first android - samsung galaxy s and want to make most of it. Have noticed it slow to respond since i downloaded some apps. Also ha've juice defender, just set at settings it came with. anything else I can do to extend battery life, Don't have email, facebook set to auto sync.

Only other thing you haven't done all ready was make sure you keep your screen brightness down when not needed. Welcome to AC
