Hey,
I'm kinda new here and I would like to join Android community bit since this is going to be my first Android phone I would like to get reviews. I have watched several review videos but I want personal experience.
How is gaming? What about network connection?
Battery life? I use my Lumia 930 pretty hard, it's screen is on almost all day. I do work stuff, gaming, social networks etc.
Lag much? I've heard and also seen Samsung phones lag pretty bad so I need reviews on that.
Is it getting latest updates? Like is the next Android version coming to this phone?
What would be your tips when get my phone?
Thanks in advance.

I really like mine. Also the M4 is only 199 unlocked if you want to get your feet wet. I don't use mine all the day, but when I get home from a ten hour day it's still around 40-50 percent on the battery. This has honestly been the best android I've used so far. I will be looking for a Z5 later down the road because this phone made me trust that Sony can make a damn good phone

If I try to estimate my use, I would say it goes a day, 8-10 hours, with no major issues. 2 hours of screen time leaves me around 40-50 % of battery and days with more usage, around 4 hours screen on time puts me in the 30% area.

Using battery saving and turning of the data etc when not in use is also quite useful to get more scree on time when needed during the day 😊

Is there any particular reason you are considering this phone? It is a great phone, but a bit outdated nowadays. If you like Sony phones then the Z5 will give you a much better camera experience. If you want a bloat free and smooth experience, you can also consider motorola phones or the new nexus phones.

Regarding updates Sony is not the fastest in the game but the Z3 will get Marshmallow, hopefully in the first couple of months of 2016.

The Z3 is s very good phone. I've owned mind since January and have had no complaints with it so far. Yes, i would have liked the camera to be a bit crisper, but overall it is a very good phone. Battery life has gotten a bit worse with lollipop, but still manageable. Quick charge works great, both directly through the USB or the magnetic port.

I didn't see the Z5 as enough of an upgrade this year, even though i love the new shade of green. I know it is a year old,but at the right price, it's a good deal.

Had been using it since June, its the best phone to buy in markets now, forget about people's talking about z5 or other brand, they are just talking, they never own z3 so they never know the hands-on experience, even for the guys that do review also dont own z3, he may own for 2 or 3 day maybe but he never know the experience of using like 5 months, z3 comes with dsee hx, sony's in build audio resampler, I cant explain everything here, if you want it buy it, you wont regret, if you don't then stop trash talking, there is z3 section on xda where you can learn about modding operating system or applications, if you by chance buy z3, just visit there n remember universes is very big, you got much to learn.

I like my Z3 Compact.

If I don't spend a lot of time playing games, I can go two days without charging it. If I spend a lot of time playing games on it, I'll need to charge it at the end of the day.

For network speed with two bars on LTE, I have 10Mbps down and 5 Mbps up.

It was upgraded to 5.1.1 a couple of months ago and another update for 5.1.1 (to fix stagefright) is expected soon. Sony has started testing Marshmellow on Z3s, so we can expect it eventually, OTOH, my wife a Samsung Galaxy S6 Active with 5.0.2 and she's still waiting for 5.1.1.

My wife has had the Z3 since January and she loves it. I've had a G3 and then an M9 in that time, and the Z3 is definitely the smoothest of all three phones. She's not the biggest power user, but I've never seen her phone stutter, and her battery appears to drain in slow motion as mine disappears; Z3 has an all day battery, and then some, with a decent amount of use.
Lollipop really toned down the OS as well, if you're a fan of the whole material look.

I would tell you to play with the camera, if that's a big deal to you, because camera tastes can vary a lot, and this one, like most, suffers some in low light.

I would have no problem having a Z3 if I wasn't such a big fan of sense, but I would say the Z3 is, over all, better than my M9.

Its a great phone, works very fast, does lag sometimes but nothing very noticeable, the battery is awesome, updates are very fast, the speaker is a little quieter but its still loud enough for my needs, it has great audio quality, the camera is a beast, the display is rich in color, it has waterproofing, micro sd capabilites which many phones today tend to lack, all in all Im very satisfied with mine ....
