Hello....my wife and I are brand new Android converts...jumping the iOS ship...had iPhone 3GS's for the last 20 months...we both wanted bigger screens, and wanted to kind of escape the "walled garden"....I say kind of, because we both like smartphones a lot...we're just npt heavy users.
I got the HTC One X and my wife got the Samsung Captivate Glide (even after almost 2 years with the touch screen, she still missed having that slide out QWERTY keyboard..hmm) Originally AT&T had taken them off of the show floor about 2 months ago, but it just so happen that after talking to a rep a few different times, he found one in the back!! So they still had them in stock, just not on display!! Good deal...anyone that's married in here knows that a happy wife is a happy life!! HAHA!! It was gonna be the HTC Vivid.
Before anyone asks why she chose between those phones...it came down to affordability...we were given trade in value of $70 per iPhone from AT&T, and we didn't want to spend much out of pocket....I know I know...why then did I get the fancy one?!! She's cool with it....I'm the geek between us....I love all this technology stuff!!
Anyway....there's my intro...hehe...oh yeah we're from MN and we just took that so called "leap" to the other side this past Sunday the 26th of August!!
