New to Android!

Hey there! I know that I'm behind on the times, but I've just recently upgraded to an Android phone. I got the HTC Hero from Sprint. While I really wanted the EVO, it was just not within my budget. So far I'm pretty happy with the Hero. I have been lurking this forum for some time now, and since I have an Android, I just thought I'd make an account.

Welcome aboard!! I am also new to android! I came from having a palm pre and making the android switch was pretty smooth. A little learning curve but you'll be fine. You're working with sense 2.1 like all of us out there so you're pretty much on the same boat. Only difference is that some of us have EVO's so internals are different and others have moto or samsung device's are running different UI's. I hope you enjoy your hero, I thought of gettin one but I liked webOS. Now that it's a wrap with my pre, I'm loving android's OS a lot!

Welcome! I am pretty much in the same boat as you DracheDame. I wanted to upgrade to the Evo but went with the Hero. I am loving it so far!

What apps have you found that you like so far?

So far I LOVE the game "Traffic Jsm". I also have "Advanced Task Killer" and "Pandora Internet Radio". I have a few other games and apps that I've been playing with. I've made ringtones and backgrounds too.
