New to Android

Hey guys,

Whats up? How are you guys? So yesterday I finally decided to jump off BB and moved to a new HTC Evo. Blackberry 6.0os was a huge disappointment and so far loving my new toy. Any suggestions what I should download, what I should do...root or not to root that is the question.

rlasalle15 - Welcome! Regarding suggestions I would say browse the forums (you'll find plenty of information).

Check out all the stickies and the post. They should help you out a bunch.

Regarding apps there are a ton out there, but....it depends on what you need/want.

Don't root until you are very comfortable with your phone. Don't go overboard on apps, adding them carefully. It's very easy to go overboard on changes and some people actually mess their phone up. KISS,( keep it simple, stupid)

I'm also from the BB side,i love my evo and it blows away the torch or my 9700.
