if you EVER plan on Rooting your phone, Do it when you get your phone (the process wipes everything off your phone like downloads, camera pictures, videos, app data ect.). use the automated tool in this forum.

once your ROOT and throw on a custom ROM, you can throw a toggle into your notification bar to turn off/on 4g. VERY useful. much quicker than digging through your settings to do it.

even if you dont root, I would STRONGLY suggest unlocking your bootloader as soon as possible. This step is the step that wipes your phone back to stock. If you ever want to root later on down the road, its not a hard process after unlocking the bootloader and your phone wont need to be wiped to do it. Plus, unlocking your bootloader allows for the installation of custom ROMS, including unofficial android updates.

Thanks guy I will probably root I did both my epic 4g and epic touch I will be new to the boot loader thing but i'm sure there plenty of info explaining to what it is and does but I do want to to get the stock feel of the nexus for maybe a day our two

Don't add too much stuff onto your sd card, as unlocking will wipe EVERYTHING.
