I just moved from my Samsung S4 to a LG G3 so I could have more storage, more RAM, faster processor, etc., AND to get Marshmallow sooner than next fall. The phone is of course not new, but when I got it, there was no update option for the OS. I found SuperSU version 2.65 on it, and a little bit of research has led me to think that my phone was rooted at some point.
I don't get to post screenshots yet, so here's the relevant info:
Phone: VS985
Hardware version: Rev 1.0
Warranty Date Code: 08/04/2015
Android version: 5.0.1
Baseband version: VS985-MPSS.DI.2.0.1.c1.13-00053-M89744AAAAANPZM-1
Kernel version: 3.4.0-SkyDragon-G3-V4.0.1-gbbcac18 lge@android-build
Build number: SkyDragon V3.0.1 -LRX21Y
Software version: VS98523B
Software status: Modified
Security software version: MDF v1.1 Release 2
So, if it has been rooted, what are my options for getting Marshmallow on here?
