New to Motorola (G5 Plus) Do I need Antivirus?

Hi!
After years on Samsung, I have switched to Motorola. Using MOTO G5 PLUS. 3 days so far.

My question to my friends here : do I at all need an Antivirus for this phone? Samsung always said that it's totally unnecessary. But am concerned coz Moto isn't that responsive.

Firmware : 7.0

Welcome to the forums. You are the best possible antivirus. If you only download apps from the Play Store, don't root your phone and be careful with which sites you visit, there's no need for an anti virus running in your phone.

If you want antivirus that don't take much space (30 to 45 MB) download 360 security.

If you want antivirus that takes quite a bit of space and loads of options (half a GB) download Clean Master.

Personally, I would download an antivirus to keep you safe (if you don't only download apps from Play Store and MIT App Inventor
