New to Rezound having troubles making backup via cwm

Just bought the Rezound off of a guy used. It was rooted and running leaked ICS (3.14.605.5). It's nice. But I'm really wanting to flash the newest leak. I don't want to do it until I do a backup. Every time I try to back up via cwm it locks up. Like I said I'm new to Rezound. Any help is appreciated.

Switch to AmonRa. I know old habits die hard but CWM doesn't work nearly as well on the Rezound. Also, unless the phone is S-Off, that backup isn't going to do you a whole lot of good. The leaked RUU's are changes in firmware as well and you can't go backwards on them(including with a backup) without S-Off.

Sweet. Thanks. I'm going to try to unlock the bootloader today. Wish me luck. I'm coming from a thunderbolt. That thing was easy to root and rom.

Your bootloader has to be unlocked if you're rooted.
