New to "smart"phones

Hi, my name is Wayne and I am new to smartphones and am a little frustrated with ATT and Samsung over the GB update fiasco! I like my Infuse 4G just fine. I am into electronics (have a BSEET) and am willing to tinker but need to understand what I am doing before I mess up my phone completely. I have already learned a lot from this site. A question that I have is this, What is the best rom for the Samsung Infuse 4G? Thank you in advance.
