Hi guys - I am new to smartphones and to Sprint. I am leaving behind my Motorolla Karma QA1 for my new HTC Evo 4g when it arrives tomorrow and would like to know what the best way to transfer contacts over from my ATT sim card onto my new phone?

Is this something they can do easily for me in the sprint store? Is it better to do it from the SIM or from the old phone directly?
Thanks and remember - there are no stupid questions.

just stupid people :-)

Or, if you have your contacts in a gmail account they transfer automatically once you sign in w/the phone.

I came from AT&T and the easiest way to transfer contacts is to save your contacts to "window contacts" and when you get your EVO just Export them to a .csv file and then import them from a gmail account. Its all done over the air so you don't have to sync or anything

I transfered my contacts from my Blackberry Bold 9000 ATT to my EVO using bluetooth...just turned both phones bluetooths on, linked them together, and hit transfer contacts on my Berry.

Cool - thanks guys!
I can hardly wait for the new phone - it's shipping today!

hopefully i won't have any of the WiFi issues that i see popping up here and on other forums

BRILLIANT! I struggled with a few different methods to transfer all of my contacts but the Bluetooth from my Blackberry 8703e worked PERFECTLY!!!! Thanks guys!
