Hey everyone, just saying decided to give Android another try. Last time I used it was 2.1 or so. Been on Windows phone from 7-8.1 and tested 10 mobile, but just thinking to try something different. I'm getting my feet wet with the HTC One A9, and I'll probably try to do a review on it once I've gotten used to it.

You've been away from android too long and you should re-evalute android with the current OS going forward.
I've never used a windows phone but I hope you like the new 5.0 + Android OS.

Welcome to AC.

I'm approaching this with an open mind. I know there have been a lot of changes to the OS since I last used it, not to mention the changes in the hardware. I still love Windows phone, but sometimes a change is needed.

Welcome back to Android! A lot has changed since the Cupcake days.

Hello and welcome! :)

I'm rather fond of WP myself, but unlike you, I can hardly change, since I already use all three main OS's. :)
Enjoy modern Android!

Hi and welcome to AndroidCentral. I switched from Windows Phone to Android seven months ago, and I'm very happy with my decision. I have all the apps I need, and the Microsoft apps for Android work better than the Microsoft apps for Windows Phone.

Welcome back to Android and have a great time in Android Central!

Don't forget unboxing pictures of the new device, and let us know what you like or dislike about it.

I received my One A9 yesterday (woohoo! :D) Initial impression, I like it. It's smooth, the customization level is taking a bit to get used to, and I'm still discovering settings. Definitely like the size and feel of the phone. I'' try to do a review after using it a few days, get to where I'm in normal daily routine with it instead of Ooooo, Shiny! mode.
