New to the gear 2

I took back my Fitbit Blaze and bought the gear 2. Is this better? How often do I need to charge the battery? Cn you ansewer the phone from it?

Welcome to the forums. Going to take a guess at your questions: recharging will depend on certain things like brightness settings, etc, but I would guess at least once per day. I am not sure about answering calls from it though.

Yes you can answer calls on it. You have to make sure your phone is connected via bluetooth.

You can answer the call by sliding the green phone icon when you watch vibrates during an incoming call. This will merely pick up the call and you'll have to take it on the phone.

I'm currently averaging 2.5 days on the battery. I'm only using the watch as a watch, getting notifications for texts, alarm clock, and activity tracker. The screen is barely on unless I need to check the time.

I believe you need to purchase the 3g version to answer calls as it has a speaker....

You can answer a call on the non 3G version but you have to take the call on the phone. OP needs to clarify what way they're trying to answer the call.
