Hey, everyone. I just picked up an optimus-t from someone on craigslist. It was brand new with all stickers still on it.. and pretty much untouched. When I first turned the phone on, I noticed that this phone had the wifi calling app preinstalled. The seller said he got the phone just 2 days ago.
Now.. from what I read.. and from what I can gather, I'm assuming my phone has the latest update for this phone. I'm not sure if it came preinstalled or if the ota was received by the previous owner.. but is there any way I can check under settings (about phone) to know for sure if it's been updated or not? Also, I was briefly reading that the ota'ed phones cannot be rooted.. is this true? If not, can I just go ahead and proceed with the rooted instructions posted in this forum?
