I just saw this and searched....it was only slightly mentioned in the HTC incredible forum, but this is a big deal in my mind.

HTC Incredible and EVO 4G to feature new maXTouch sensors – Android and Me

Being able to touch the screen with not only unlimited fingers, but with fingernails, with gloves on and with a stylus.

Here's a video talking about the actually technology with demos.

This phone is getting better and better.

I'm surprised Sprint or HTC didn't make a bigger deal out of this new tech.

That video is awesome. I'm so glad HTC switched to this technology starting with the Incredible.

Heeeey Cory! Since I see you in here, does that mean you're getting an Evo also?? We'd have the same phone again since back in the days of the Sprint Touch!

Hey Manny!!!! It's great to see you at A/C :D

I'm not getting the EVO - as awesome as it is. I'm committed to Verizon, so I'll be sticking with the Incredible until Verizon launches an LTE phone.

I'm amazed by how many Pre users have been won over by the EVO. It's pretty cool actually.

Ok guys this is a big deal, the improvement is significally remarkable, the nexus one is very laggy and it can't register certain amount of fingers but when u see in the video the incredible against it is amaizing it runs butterly smooth great improvment...as i already said HTS is the future.

You weren't one of the lucky ones that pre-ordered a Droid Incredible and got it early, did you? Something tells me though that you did pre order one, am I right?

I have been watching every review of the Incredible, just to get a good idea of what I will be looking at once I get my Evo!

yazman, what's HTS?

I did pre-order one, but I wasn't one of the lucky ones. Roy was though  The Evo is going to be off the hook. You Sprinters are super lucky.

Well, I expect a full review on April 30th!

I'd consider myself even luckier if my little town had 4G on launch day.... and google would figure out how to let devs install big 3d games on these phones without the devs having to fear piracy. Big screen, iphone style games, fast cpu, nice UI and fast 4G....oh heaven! lol

Thanks for the link OP. I'm really curious how this technology works. If it was traditional capacitive it wouldn't work with fingernails or a stylus.

wow thats cool, i hate using fingernails though, coming from a pre where the screen scratches easy >.<
