new txt message

I've had the s4 and now upgraded to the s6 and was wondering is there a new txt setting?
What I found annoying on my s4 was that a new (unread) msg would not take priority over an old one when clicking on the msg icon.
Say if I had been txtin friend A and exited.. then friend B txts me..
Without looking at the name, I'm txtin back and it's infact friend A still.. it's not putting the new txt as a priority.
Hope this makes some kind of sense to someone lol

So you checked all your setting then? If your with Verizon you could try message+. Or not, but I use it and have no problems. I don't know much about the stock message app since I never use it.
