Hi,

Brand new to the forums here, and sorry if I am asking questions that might have been answered. At any rate, I was able to do an update on my S4 today, and unfortunately - I did not check the name of the update or size. I just hit the download button. My S4 currently has 4.2.2 installed. However, the download was very slow, and after about 15%, the download went away :'(. Now, I cannot check for another update for 24 hours.

Was this update 4.4? Is the update cancelling out on people? I hope to get some insight here.

Its 4.3 Jelly Beans, it was pulled due to some issues. Then today, it was released plus fixes. You can make the time go faster by going to Settings> More> Date and Time, unchecked the automatic and put in a day ahead. Then check for updates. After that, revert back the time/date also check box the automatic as well.

Thanks for the tip! Well - I am now on Dec 6th. I keep getting an update interruption, so I have had to restart every time. The closest I have gotten was 63% :-\. What is the deal here? Is the reason why my update keeps getting interrupted is because "everyone" is trying to download 4.4?

I am about to throw in the towel for a few days.

You have to leave the screen on for the updates to keep going. If screen timed out, it will get interrupted. That's what I did since it happened to me as well.

Did the same thing to me, just go to date and time in settings and manually move the clock ahead 24 hours. Took me 4 or 5 times for this to work but it finally did. Still it took a few hours to update to 4.3.Hope this helps you.
