Ok i got this phone for the mother in law and I'm having problems with it. It's a big change from my dinc.
First problem. I want to change to the standard Android keyboard. I go to settings then keyboard and all I can do is change the settings to the Android keyboard and swype. How do I select the Android keyboard to be the default one.


Second problem. I entered the facebook account into accounts and selected it to sync with contacts and it says it has synced but when I go to contacts they arnt there.
From the contacts app I made sure display facebook contacts is checked and it is.

Anyone have any ideas here for me.

Change the keyboard by long pressing a text entry box, such as a text message, and wait for the option for Swype or Android keyboard to pop up. Just select the option you'd like to use.

For facebook contacts syncing, go into contacts, menu, and select get friends
