Hi guys,

Just had the dispatch notice for my brand new, shinny S5E... will be here mid-week, latest.

Any tips or thing to do first/check etc. out of the box? How are users finding the Samsung bloat? I'm guessing there are no custom firmwares about yet?

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated

The UI is pretty clean and bloat free. I prefer using the Nova launcher as opposed to the One UI as ONE seems more optimized for phones.

there's zero bloat. Not sure why you thought there would be.

I think he means Google and Samsung preloaded bloat like Gmail and such that can't be removed, only disabled.

That's exactly what I thought there would be, going from previous Samsung product experiences. To my amaziment though, it was a relatively smooth setup - I'm really happy with the tablet. The battery is insane!

one thing that really pleased me when I was setting up my new 5se was Facebook was not preinstalled.
Actually very little bloat on this tablet.
