I have decided that I will be switching to Verizon after years of being a hater mainly because my t-mobile coverage in my area is sadly not very good. With $300 basically off any phone, I feel that I need to make a smart choice with what phone I wanna get. I originally wanted the MXPE until the turbo 2 (moto display/voice looks awesome) came out then I was looking at the LG V10 (great promo deal and newest phone) and now it's Samsung phones (looks like killer specs) So my question is what's the best Android phone money can buy off Verizon?

That is going to be a personal choice based on your needs and preferences.
I wanted a large smartphone so it was down to the V10 and Note 5 for me.
Nothing can beat the Note 5 if you really use the S-Pen.
It also has a great camera and really good specs overall.

I have purchased the V10 and right now I really like it and think I will keep it over the Note 5.
I had a Note 2 and rarely used the S-Pen. the S-Pen on the Note 5 is light years ahead of the one I had on the Note 2 so I'm sure I would use it more but the V110 had a few key advantages that swung me that way.
The largest advantage is storage.
I needed a phone right away and my note 2 was on it's last legs.
I might have tried the Note 5 but no store in my area stocks the 64gb version. It would have had to be ordered.
Also, my Note 2 was only 16gb but I had a 64gb sd card with a lot of data and 32 with out an expansion slot was unacceptable. The 64gb version would have been a concession.
The V10 comes with 64gb's standard and has an expansion slot that will accept the largest card now available (they boast that memory is expandable to 2 TB).
Also the V10 has a steel frame and silicon cover that makes it very durable as well as attractive compared to the very fragile glass and aluminum Note 5.
If you are really going to use the S-Pen, put your phone in a case anyway, and not need a lot of on board storage (or don't mind being dependent on the cloud or carrying a separate portable storage device) go with the Note 5.
Otherwise I think the V10 is the best large phone at Verizon.
The Droid Turbo 2 might be your choice if durability and battery life were your chief issues.
Nothing on the market can outlast it's battery or has the shatterproof glass.
But to me the Turbo 2 is an ugly phone and the V10 has quick charging and a replaceable battery.
Furthermore, LG has a promotion now that will provide a 200 gb memory card an extra battery and charging cradle for free to highlight it's chief advantages (expandable storage and replaceable battery) over the iPhone and Note.

Like MittenSportsFan said, its a very subjective choice. I've had an LG G2 for 2 years now and love it (though I wish I never "upgraded" to lolipop. Before that was a Motorola Droid Razr Maxx, and before that I was the now infamous Samsung Galaxy Nexus. I just went and tried out the new Droid Turbo 2 and the Galaxy S5 (along with the V10) last Saturday and here are my quick thoughts:

- LG V10 certainly has more customization and features, especially in the camera area. Note 5 comes pretty close to having the same multitastking features, but the camera options don't come close. The V10 is a gorgeous phone too, easy to hold in average 5'11" persons hands. I do worry about battery life so I'm waiting to hear what everyone else experiences before I jump on board. Blazing fast with everything it does, screen is like looking at a tiny monitor, but contrast is great.

- Droid Turbo 2, when you open the camera app, I was literally not allowed to do anything else but take a picture, switch to the front camera or take a video. NO other modes or options whatsoever. Plus I was very put off by the thick bezels and overall cheap feel of the phone, though I know its probably the most durable on the market. Battery life and is a big plus with this phone, but don't expect to customize much.

- Note 5, As I said, this phone is built for multitasking and work flow and allows some adjustments to fit your style. All supposedly has great processing power but it felt slower and lazier than the LG V10. The screen is ridiculously saturated and the icons were one notch below neon. Screen is nice and bright though without much effort.

For me it was a choice of screen and sound. I don't like amyloid (Note5) screens, and the sounds of the Note5 was subpar to the V10 which has DAC. Of course having a SD card even on a 64G device (v10) makes file management much easier for me. I use a Mophie battery pack when I know I'll be using alot of phone (golfing w gps) but now will just carry the extra battery for the V10 (on promo)

I am very torn between the LG V10 and the Droid Turbo 2.

I think the swappable battery makes the battery life a moot point. I am concerned about Lag. Currently having a Nexus I know I'm lag free. I have had both the Droid Maxx and Droid Turbo, so I'm assuming the Turbo 2 will provide a similar lag free experience.

However my wife has a LG G3, and everytime I use it, I like it a lot.

I have experienced no lag.
A few reports of lag seem to be during initial transfer of data and apps loading.

You have taken the battery life out of the equation so the only other real advantage the Turbo 2 has is weatherproof screen.
Everything else points to the V10.
If you liked the LG User Interface on the G3 I'm sure you will like the V10.
The only other factor is size.
The V10 is considerably larger than the Turbo 2.
If you can handle the size the V10 is a slam dunk.

Aside from the obvious choices like Apple and Samsung, it's down too the lg v10 and the moto droid turbo 2. I chose the V10 cause the black silicon looks sic. But it was a hard choice. I must've been asked if I needed help like a 100 times at the verizon store just taking about 2 hrs to decide v10 or mdt2. I wish I had both in my hands for a couple days. I'll be thinking real hard during my 14 day period.

Only cons so far on the v10 is the battery life so far after 2 days seems like it's not gonna be to good. Then again your putting the phone through its paces So might not be a proper assumption. Also the speaker isn't real loud. Not big deal if you use headphones but I work at a fire station and I'm always showing the guys funny videos and have to do the cup the hand thing. Lastly, I wish the sides were made of a grippier rubber too. It's a little slippery at times, mainly when my hands feel real dry.

thanks for this feedback. I currently have the Nexus 6, so size shouldn't be an issue

If the V10 had wireless charging I would dump the Note 5 in a second.

You may need to get your eBay or swappa account ready to sell your Note 5.
LG has been testing a wireless charging back accessory for over a month.
http://www.techtimes.com/articles/9...s-charging-but-it-will-be-sold-separately.htm
Also, LG is offering a free replacement battery and charging stand (in addition to a 200gb micro sd card) with V10 purchase prior to 11-15. That is better than having wireless charging at launch.
I imagine that the wireless charging back will be available shortly after the current promo ends.

If it's anything like the G4 wireless charging case it will be negligible. The back was about the same size. Granted, the V10 back cover is not as deep as the G4. I wonder if it will be quick circle since the software option is there.

I did end up getting the LG v10. Getting used to the size and buttons on the back... I had a nexus 4 for 2 1/2 years.... But otherwise it's a awesome phone. Also battery life is still pretty good and it charges Hella fast so battery wise I'm actually pretty satisfied. And ordered the promotion from LG were I get a free battery 200 gb micro SD card and a battery charger. Now I'm just trying to customize the thing to my liking.
