"New Verizon Wireless phone is now active" notification- I don't have a new phone

Twice so far since I have had the Droid Mini I have gotten a pop up notification stating that my "new Verizon Wireless phone is now active" and the message continues with details like my number and how data and apps will be billed to my account. I have had my same number for 11 years, and have had the Droid mini activated for approximately 3-4 months already. Does anyone know why I keep getting this message?

I have no solution for you, but have the same problem with a newish phone. Verizon's solution was to replace the 3 week old phone. Still having the problem with the replacement phone.
