New Version available for Samsung Push Service???

I noticed that update also. I think it's just a newer version of the software to get notifications on the apps that have an update from the Samsung App Store. Some of the pre-installed apps can only be updated through the Samsung App Store. The only app that I update through the Samsung site is the pre-installed PS Touch.

I tried to update it, but it apparently doesn't exist.

It showed up in my Notification area, but after I shut it down it disappeared.
I'm new to the whole android tablet thing, so I wouldn't know where to find it now.

Is it something I need or should update/install?

Breathe....It isnt going to hurt your tablet not to update it, but I like to keep mine up to date.

Open the Samsung apps app and you can get the update from there. You should notice a number in red. Click on it.
