Recently purchased a new wifi xoom from one of those sale a day sites...can't complain...the price was right! My question is after powering up I got two ota's to get me to 3.2. I understand that ics has already been sent out ota as well. Will I get this ota since its kinda old now? If not is there a way to get it? I'm familiar with rooting phones like my evo 3d but would like to leave this one stock for now. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

As mentioned on this thread

You got a european XOOM. Those are on 3.2 not ics. Us wifi XOOM has ics, you can always install ics and it will work just fine. But you need a host cable (aka otg usb) order it online as best buy and frys will not have it. You install the cable to the micro usb port and download US ics firmware onto a flash drive and plug it into the end of the cable/adapter. While XOOM is shut down power it up and hold volume down and select install from flash drive or usb drive. Something of that sort. Hope that helps

I replied to the other thread saying that I already tried this method and I'm getting a failure during installation...I'm going to pick up a couple different thumbdrives tomorrow and give it another go. Good luck with yours!
