I recently got the z2 2 days ago and as up to now im very very impressed.. I payed £300 from argos in england for a black sim free and its frigging brillint. Its my first sony since the sony xperia u lol.. I love the screen especially since tinkering the white balance and lollipop runs flawless.. The battery is fantastic and the first day i got over 6h on screen time and that was withowt the stamina mode and today ive really used it heavy to the point that id of charged my old lg g3 twice and even on really heavy usage ive still got over 4h 30m on screen time.. Very impressed i was going to get the 2014 moto x but glad i didnt now... What ost has other people had on this phone

Ps the 20.7 mp shooter is amazing to shoot with aswell and the build quality is also amazing. Ive orderd a case just to keep it looking new as ive seen how easy these are to smash.. Theres only one downer to my liking and thats the front firing speaker there not anything worth shouting about but hey atleast there on the front

This is with very heavy usage and still 20% left.. Screen was on adaptive brightness and ive been outside in the bright blazing sun alot of the day so the pannel has been vamped right up

I got my phone in March and learned the hardway that the phones waterproof doesn't include saltwater. Since then the front-facing camera and vibration hasn't worked; and battery Drain is more aggressive I'm only getting 5hrs screen on time with standby mode(Heck I'm lucky the phone even works at all tbh).

I wonder if Sony repair centre will fix front facing camera under warranty.
Funny enough, I'm actually looking at the Moto X 2014 as a replacement.

I sold my Moto X 2014 Pure Edition and bought a Z2 in early February, 2015. I could not be happier with my decision. The battery life on my Z2 is at least double what I was getting on the Moto X 2014. The camera on the Z2 is consistently excellent ; the camera on the Moto X is inconsistent and "Ok" at its very best.

Lollipop was a janky stuttering mess on the Moto X. Lollipop has been nothing but smooth and fast on the Z2.

If these are the 2 phones you are choosing between, the Z2 has a much better camera and nearly double the battery life. I'm sure Motorola got the bugs worked out of Lollipop in the 5.1 update, which would likely make the software an advantage. The Moto X has some software features you can't get on anything other than a Motorola.

I hope you didn't buy the white one.. The frame cracks by the ports. My guess is the white plastic is not as durable as the black one. Other than that the build quality is amazing.

I've had my Z2 since June of 2014 and I still love this phone. Battery life has remained awesome. I also love the camera on this phone. I'm rocking the Purple.
