im an idiot.

im new to rooting phones, i downloaded Odin and a root tar file from the following location;

i read and followed the instructions to the letter. What I did not do was read the comments posted at the bottom of the page warning me that this tar would nuke my phone... (sad face)

now my Samsung Galaxy S Epic 4G will not move past the Samsung home screen. Is there anyway that I can fix this? For the love of God please help!

Use the following thread to get your device back up and running stable again on Froyo EC05 and then from there you can do as you wish to update.... Either manually/OTA or root EC05 and flash a custom GB ROM.
