Hey i got a question regarding all the recoveries. I originally had CWM recovery on my EVO3D and after tinking around i then got TWRP Recovery on it. Now I do not know if the recoveries work nice with one another and if not would i be able to delete one? Also i am looking to get the 4EXT recovery, so I wanted to know before getting a 3rd recovery program on the EVO if they work with one another, and if not how do i go about removing a recovery from the phone.

Yes HTC does, or did. Make a white one. But from what I understand, they were having issues with the white paint chipping off and exposing the white plastic underneath. They were going to delay the release of the white version but I don't know until when.

Anyone know when it will be released or where I can get my hands on one?

What he said! 4ext is the way of the future for recoveries!

Thanks Phil and it was a pleasure to have your comment on this. I had just recently updated to 4EXT, and I was trying to install the google talk with video app, but the install failed and it the report said the following.
Amend scripting (update-script) is no longer supported.
Amend scripting was deprecated by Google in Android 1.5.
It was necessary to remove it when upgrading to the ClockworkMod 3.0 Gingerbread based recovery.
Please switch to Edify scripting (updater-script and update-binary) to create working update zip packages.
Installation aborted.

Now did gtalk fail because of CWM? I am not understanding why 4EXT would have a problem with installing this app.

My guess is you flashed an old version of gtalk? Try downloading the most recent gapps package. I cant post link right now but it should be easy to find on Google.

Hmmm try this:
Make a nand backup first then boot up your phone as normal.

Download this file and save on your sd card http://db.tt/rDBDrjYZ

Uninstall your exsisting google talk (might have to use titanium backup)

Next install the talk.apk from the link provided.

That should get you working cam in talk

Coming at you from all dimensions(3VO)
downgraded to hboot 1.4
