newbie but i love this phone

Hello, I have been waiting for a phone to come out like this for a long time, I have an EVO 4G, it has been great so far, I have one major problem now and I need someone to give me some sort of instructions on how to fix it, last week I got an ota update, no one told me not to except the updates on my phone, now my perfectly rooted phone has problems when, I try using the wireless tether, it fails:'( then it keep saying my Su is out of date, I'm currently running on android 2.3.3, kernel version 2.6.35.10 HTC-kernel, someone give me a clue what to do....thanks
