Newbie Questions!

So, I just ordered my moment a few days ago and have a couple questions!

does it come preloaded with 2.1 or do I have to do that myself?
Should I do that first and then have a Sprint store transfer my contacts, etc?

I wish you luck. That was the worst phone I've ever owned. Bad connections, horrible battery, etc...sold my perfectly conditioned 1 week old Moment yesterday for $100 just to get rid of it.

I feel sorry for you. And me. This phone is really not for the business environment. I'm so sorry I have to put up with it for another 8.5 months until I can get an upgrade.

my girlfriend has a moment and loves it.

to answer your question though, it may or may not come loaded with 2.1 if it doesn't have it, to unlock your phone from the lock screen you have to push the menu button.

have the sprint store transfer your contacts after you update it, setup your gmail account and then sync it.

got me a moment also in a trade and i got me some newbie questions... i am running 2.1 and i have the advanced task killer app. but my question is how do i close down apps indefinitely. also how do i remove apps like Amazon mp3 or weather channel. So far i am enjoying the phone and with light browsing, phone calls, texting, messing around with phone, battery life has been good, getting a full day out of it so far.

thanks for the quick reply ( sarcasm ). any who, i have another question. does the moment have indicating lights like a blackberry that will blink when u have a message or email. reason i ask is there seems to be these tiny LED circle looking thingy's in the front of my moment to the left of the Sprint logo. any input on what that is?

ok, now that most of know that the moment will most likely not see 2.2 which i really dont mind much. will the phone still be supported with minor firmware updates within 2.1? any thoughts.
