Greetings to all from down here in the land of Australia.
I'm new to the world of Android/smartphones having just made the quantum leap from an LG TU500 (don't laugh (much)) but I'm starting to get hooked already after 1 week !
Sad isn't it...
Yes, I've read the owner's manual so I won't ask stupid questions, and am learning all the terminology so I won't ask stupid questions and am learning about the boot up sequence, file hierarchies, systems etc so I won't ask stupid questions !! :)
BUT I already have some questions, so be afraid, be VERY afraid
Seriously though, I look forward to contributing to the forum and to being a pain here like I am everywhere else :D

Me - in field tech support for a few decades, full-time genius, inventor, entrepreneur, old-time computer hacker, assembly language coder (developed the MOVE command before M$ did), maybe wrote the world's first polymorphic virus (not sure, but possibly !) and a few other things you don't need to know about. heh heh...
Anyway, on with the show !

Welcome to Android Central and the Android platform!

Enjoy!
