Newbie to Android

Hello all.

I'm a fairly tech savvy person, but I'm brand new to Android, and I have to say I'm really confused. I'm a PC person, but I have an iPhone and an iPad that I love.

We recently got a Pandigital Novel for my 4 year old Autistic son because of the price ($67! New!).

However, I'm a little lost and I am trying to get info on the best way to use it. That's why I'm here.
