Newbie to the Android world Xbberry user

Hi, I have just purchased the Motorolla Defy. I have been a Black Berry user for about 2 years and hated every moment of it. I have been waiting for a phone that I felt can do what I want it to do...Then came the Defy and I am waiting with bells and whistles for it to show up at my door. In the mean time I am trying to learn as much as I can about this phone... I was just as excited for the BBerry till I got one UGH I think that you have to have minimal Computer Knowledge to really love that phone. I am in my later 30's and grew up in Silicon Valley My father was SUN my Mother HP and my Father in law retired IBM so the Bberry was VERY disappointing to me . I HOPE the DEFY wont let me down
so HELLO ALL I am HERE TO SOAK UP YOUR KNOWLEDGE
and give some back if I can

Welcome to A/C. No Android will let you down. And comparing them to a BB, Android blows BB out of the water.

Yeah I had a feeling Im going to fall in love. I still cant however understand why anyone would love their BB so much.. Maybe Im just more aware of what todays technology can actually accomplish than most.

BB has BBM pretty much and setting up e-mail is much easier on BB then another other device. But was able to setup my email on my Android but took an extra 30 seconds. Gmail is easy but corporate email took slightly longer.
