I'm new to this forum, but not to the Android OS. I had the origional Droid, the Droid 3(had many issues,replaced 3 times before they let me buy a different phone), and now the Droid Razr. I just installed the ICS update and am trying to learn all of the differences. I like the new look of the phone, menus, options,etc. There are a few things that I have no idea about, most notably an error on the pulldown that says "Background Data Restricted"??? Why do I keep getting that message? I also don't like that you can't x out one thing at a time on the pulldown, like updates and installs,etc...
Also, what is the Phone Idle under battery usage? Is there a way to change that? Sounds like when a car is idle,it's always running. Battery usage is a concern as it probably is to most, and that seems that it's gonna use up the battery faster.
Any info as to making the new ICS a more enjoyable and useful tool would be greatly appreciated!!!
