Newbie trying to get rid of spam :(

Hi everyone Hows it going? Im new to this so Im pretty clueless about it but Im sure Ill figure it out soon enuf. Im decently experienced with my Droid X but when it comes to my most recent problem Im stumped. I keep getting a plus symbol across my notifications window with Allll kinds of spam. As soon as I delete it,another pops up. It tells me,tho,that I can go to xapush.com to opt out so I tried it but then all I found were forums..thats how I got here. Someone PLease help me.. get me out of spam hell !!! Lol
