Hello,

I am new to smart phones in general. I am looking for answers to help me learn to use my Casio gzone commando. My initial reason was to learn how to put music on my phone. I have read a few threads and will keep trying to understand how to do it.

After attaching the phone to the PC, I open the folder marked music. I open ITunes and copy/paste individual songs to the folder. The music makes it to the phone but the music folder
still reads empty even after disconnect/reconnect.

ITunes is tricky you cant copy straight from iTunes instead you have to copy from the iTunes media folder located C:\Users\username\Music\iTunes\

After a little tinkering with my limited computer skills:

C:\Users\username\my music
in attributes: hide then un-hide files ( I think Itunes did this on install)
Itunes appears like you said. Copy and Paste. Now when I reattach the phone I have a list of whats on it. Cool. I know that there are syncing options out there but that's a little beyond me right now. Baby steps. Thanks for your guidance.

Google music
Or double twist
would be my recommendations for an iTunes alterative/ syncing option

I figured the same thing out when dealing with Google uploads lol. You have to go to your documents and music where iTunes saves it, unless your designated folder is set to else where.

I figured out the reason the nexus doesn't allow you to directly drag and drop songs is because iTunes transforms mp3s and makes them wpa files. Which androids only read mp3 files
