News Next Galaxy S24 Ultra camera upgrade might be on hold for a bit

Samsungs priorities aren't right. I have a S23 so I'm not speaking for myself, but the S24 Ultra should get fixes before they keep releasing 6.1 for all these older devices. People paid good money to have the latest and "greatest" and shouldn't have to wait.

Then there's regular updates like the Galaxy S Tabs. Tired of these being treated like lepers too.

As much as I like Samsung as a whole, they probably won't be my first choice when looking to move on.

Maybe Samsung needs to stop over-processing those images and just save the shot we take as-is. I'm really not liking all the extra tweaking these cameras do. I know a lot of this is done after the shot is taken, but it seems that the camera is taking too much time analyzing the shot as it's being taken and that's what messes with the fast moving objects. Just stop all that and let the shot be what it is.

And this is with the S24+.

Over processing ≠ Oversaturation.

If you want to see kverprocessing, look no further than a Pixel. THAT is an example over operprocessing, that's actually all it does. Only way it can pump out pics like it does with mediocre cameras.

But back to Samsung, if you think Samsung needs to just take a picture, use Pro Mode and you'll get dull lifeless pictures unless you manually play with everything.
