I doubt Google would name its next operating system by misspelling words.

Its sounds cooler to me.. And anyone with common sense would know it stands for candy.. Its not about being misspelled.. Y should everything be so serious?

Ya never know... though I think people would see it as a cop out on figuring out alphabetical sweets... but Google does have a sense of humor... I want licorice after key lime pie... or laddoo.

(we'll see if they do non English sweets)

This has been brought up before.. Everyone keeps saying "Key Lime Pie"... but ever since I found out about the Easter Egg, I've kind of wondered. I hope it's Key Lime Pie, but I have a feeling it might be Kandy Kane.

Maybe the candy cane signifies a holiday release???

I can't see them making this type of marketing mistake. Imagine the itrolls commenting on how Google can't spell yadda yadda yadda. Key Lime Pie seems like a logical next name. KLP is green, like the Android mascot and it falls in line alphabetically.

Anyone think that Google might go all healthy on us and name it Kiwi? Kiwis are green after all. Plus, it would make for a funny looking lawn ornament. Just sayin

I'm guessing that's a reference to a holiday release or update. I doubt they'd go with "kandy kane", although I'm not a fan of key lime pie as a name either, but I guess there aren't any other "k" desserts in US culture that aren't restricted product names.
