I recently bought the Nexus 5 knowing I have an upgrade to use, which I didn't. So technically, it's there . If I didn't have the Nexus 5 and wanted to upgrade at this point in the game it likely would be the Moto X simply because of the battery life and form factor. After that, possibly the LG G2 then HTC One in that order. As far as future devices? Since nothing is known about anything, aside from rumors, it's hard to say. I would expect LG to make some big moves with good devices that would compete with Samsung and HTC.

I'm looking at LG G2 as well because of battery life and it's not that big with a big screen. Then the Motor X.
