Can someone out there please please help me - spent the day unsuccessfully trying to import a file with pictures without the image order being muddled up - can import the file no problem but the pictures are all re-arranged despite tagging the pictures and re-numbering the photos themselves several times and in several different ways. Also I can find no way to re-arrange the images when on the tablet. So here's hoping . . . . . . . . ciao and thanking someone in eager anticipation! Otherwise I quite like the Nexus 10!!!

I have never tried this, but I wonder if it is like the iPad. On the iPad, the default ordering is date last modified. So if you touch a file with an editor (ex. Photoshop) it's date last modified is updated to the current date/time. This results in displaying first (or last) the last image you edited, which is often not the desired sequence of presentation. You have to buy a 3rd party app to really control the sequence.

To see if this is the same on Android you might edit an image or two and see where they end up in the display sequence.

Best of luck,

jerry

Thanks for that Jerry - I edited all the pics in PS CS2 at the same time as I changed them all from img. files to jpgs. - but I'll have another look at that aspect, but as you say a 3rd party app may be the easiest answer - do you have any suggestions as to an appropriate one? Thanks again ciao Annnielf
