My nexus 10 was having problems getting connection with the charger. (it still had about 10% battery left) Then out of nowhere it turned off and will not come back on. And will not connect at all to a charger. I have tried holding the button down and waited over night and tried again with no luck. Any advise?

I tried for about 30-40 seconds and I have tried several times. :( This is upsetting because it is fairly new.

As you know from reading this forum and using Google, there have been other well documented instances where the charging problem was due to a faulty charger, cable or wall plug, and not in the tablet itself, What happened when you connected the tablet to a cell phone charger or other alternate power source? Did you try another wall socket known to be good? What happened when you connected the tablet to a powered-on PC via the USB cable? Did the tablet still not charge at all?

I have tried all of those things. I tried two different chargers, USB, and different outlets and still no luck.

Sounds like you've done all the right things to rule out the most likely causes. Probably time to call Google.

There is a difference between a regular start up and a bootloader start up. (I may not be using the exact correct terms, gurus please forgive me.) I believe its hold down one of the volume buttons as you also hold down the start button. It may be the case that booting in this manner works, when a regular boot will not. Good luck!
