Nexus 10 optimizing apps

When I turn on the Nexus, the optimizing apps screen comes up. After this is complete, The message shuttting down flashes and the tablet turns off. I tried holding down the power, up,and down buttons and tried all the options there but the tablet just shuts down every time. Any suggestions?

I am having the same exact issue. Mine has some pretty dramatic flashes while it is optimizing apps, and then it shuts down.
