Hi everyone :)

2.4 GHz performs better than 5 GHz is that normal?:-\

My Super Hub is roughly 20 meters away from my bedroom (where I spend most of my time), adjacent across the landing floor (on the same floor)...

Should I be expecting better performance since the converge isn't too far? I have heard 5GHz band does not cover the same distance as 2.4GHz so is only meaningful if you are at close proximity to your router..

I have set my Channel to Auto compatibility, so I assume the Hub is choosing the best channel when one channel is congested and so on. My Wireless Mode is set at 300Mbps for performance .

When someone is on the laptop using the 2.4 band, my phone connects at the 5. If the laptop is not being used, my phone uses the 2.4. You do get a greater range using the 2.4 but I have not noticed a decrease in range in my 2 story townhouse when connected to the 5.
