Nexus 4 battery issues

I know there are a lot of battery related forum threads here, but none of them seem to say what I'm experiencing!

So I've had my N4 since about Christmas, and up until yesterday and today, I've been taking the phone off charge at about 8am, and putting it back on at 7:30pm. I use it with 50% battery, light web browsing, lots of texting and kik messaging throughout the day on 3g until 4pm.

Until yesterday and today, battery life has been on 12% by 2:30 PM, on the same usage and data connection. Is there anything that can be done to fix this or am I waiting for the next software update?

Have you tried rebooting the phone? It sounds like one of your apps is just in a bad state. Could also be related to a new app you've downloaded or an update to an app.

I haven't tried it, I turned everything I didn't need off instead! I'll try it if it happens today - thanks!
